1. Tata Dholera Semiconductor Fab
India’s first advanced chip manufacturing plant is coming up in Dholera, Gujarat. Tata Electronics is investing ₹91,000 crore to produce 50,000 wafers per month. Production starts in 2026. This is the flagship of India’s semiconductor mission.
2. Micron Sanand Chip Facility
Micron is setting up a ₹22,500 crore chip assembly and packaging plant in Sanand, Gujarat. The facility will be operational by 2025. It’s a crucial piece of India’s plan to build a complete semiconductor ecosystem.
3. AdaniConneX-Google AI Campus
Google and AdaniConneX are building India’s largest AI data center in Visakhapatnam. The investment: USD 15 billion. Capacity: 1 gigawatt. It will be Google’s biggest AI hub outside the United States. Timeline: 2026-2030.
4. Reliance Jamnagar AI Data Center
Reliance Industries is constructing a massive 1 GW data center complex in Jamnagar. The project is powered by a partnership with NVIDIA. It will triple India’s total data center capacity. Think cutting-edge GPUs running next-gen AI models.
5. National Industrial Corridors
India is developing 11 industrial corridors with 32 smart nodes. These aren’t traditional industrial zones. They’re IoT-enabled, digitally connected manufacturing hubs. Think plug-and-play infrastructure for electronics, automotive, and tech companies.

9. Hyperscale Data Center Wave
Multiple 100+ MW data centers are being built across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. Companies like CtrlS are using advanced cooling technologies. These facilities will support cloud computing, AI workloads, and global capability centers.
10. Digital Public Infrastructure 2.0
India’s digital stack is evolving. UPI, ONDC, and the Account Aggregator framework are expanding into new sectors. This “soft” infrastructure project is reshaping fintech, e-commerce, healthcare, and logistics. It’s a megaproject without concrete and steel.
